Analyses investors’ business plan to determine and advise the corporation on the applicant’s business case• Screen’s investors’ business proposal to ensure compliance with the corporation’s financing guidelines• Develops a financial model for the investors’ business proposal for purposes of determining and advising the corporation on the financial viability of the project• Carries out due diligence to determine and flag out any risks and risk factors that might impact on project viability and advise on the appropriate mitigation of the same.• Carries out feasibility study to determine the feasibility of any project that the corporation may want to undertake• Carries out valuation of various businesses for purposes of advising the corporation on the acquisition price• Develops Business Plans for the corporation’s projects• Monitoring and evaluation of the project during the implementation stage and advising the corporation on the best way of handling emerging challenges• Preparing and presenting project appraissal reports to management and finance and investment committee of the board for approval and/or noting.• Any Other Duties as assigned by the Credit Manager

• I have on a timely and accurate basis prepared the institute’s payroll. I am proud that I have maintained the integrity and confidentiality of the payroll system.• Through budget preparation and management, I have significantly contributed to the achievement of the institute’s strategic objectives.• I have successfully sustained the confidence of our donors through prudent grants management and satisfactory progress reports on donor funded projects.• I have successfully provided quality management reports and advice resulting in sound management decisions. A more recent example involved the development of a more competitive fee structure.• Under my leadership, the institute has complied with all statutory requirements including remittance of PAYE, NSSF, NHIF and other non statutory deductions like Mwalimu and Waumini Sacco Deductions.• I have strengthened internal controls through timely reconciliation of accounts and bank statements, segregation of duties and documentation procedures. This effort has resulted in timely, reliable and accurate financial and management reports.• Under my leadership, prudent credit risk management policies have been put in place.
