Facilitates the movement of all merchandise and materials In an organized manner into and out of the Bookstore; including onto the selling floor and/or appropriate storage area. Sets up store for Author signings and events. Check quantities and weight of all merchandise, log shortages and defective materials on appropriate log and report such. Log and record movement of all merchandise both in and out of store. Verify information using computerized inventory system; receive and return merchandise in system. Oversee labeling of merchandise by matching purchase orders, packing slips and invoices. Assist in coordination of receiving, verifying and distribution of office supplies to campus departments. Ensures proper credit to department and Bookstore when required. Assists in the processing of internet on-line orders. Assists in store security, Operates and maintains copiers, Assists on ordering candy, beverages, and chips. Assists on making schedules For student workers as well as lunch schedules. Delegates duties for Store cleanliness.
