A multi disciplinary role managing the in house projects and the commercial officer responsible for all works, services and goods contracts under £3 million across multiple sites and a large MOD training estate in Belize.The main works were the repair works after Hurricane Lisa, the refurbishment of multiple housing and accommodation blocks, gymnasium refurbishment and a café refurbishment. All contracts were awarded under UK Government regulations including PCR 2016

I Developed a Battlefield Study for British Army Training Unit Belize (BATSUB) on the USA Civil War. This included research into the history of the civil was and how the lessons of the past are applicable to BATSUB today then the planning and coordination of a group of 20 touring / studying the civil war sites from Washington to Richmond.Each day required to be researched and planned to the relevant learning objectives and the creation of a study guide, lesson plans and then leading the study, managing time and budget in line with government policy.

A construction consultant working for DIO and the MOD at RAF Coningsby. My main responsibilities involved advising the client on infrastructure issues on camp in particular, any which could impact on air operations (AOS, ASP and critical infrastructure) and acting as the clients representative on all large project (up to £5 million).Additional roles included the management minor new works and compliance with UK legislation, managing a small team of military engineers.

I researched and designed an airfield infrastructure battlefield study to Vietnam for 20 people over 12 days. The study concentrated on the large scale Airfield and infrastructure construction in Vietnamby US forces and the maintenance of the airfields. How the war ensured major changes in design and security airfields.The research included lesson plans, training objectives, study guides and a detailed program of events and schedule all in line with MOD policy and budgets.

I planned and co-ordinated a skiing expedition for 55 people to Tignes, France over 2 weeks. This included the collaborative working with chief ski instructor to provide training from basic skiing to overnight ski touring in the alps.I planned and coordinated the expedition managing the program, resources, budget and medical emergencies.

Commercial officer responsible for all DIO procurement in Nepal, ranging from new works and framework contracts, to re-letting goods and services contracts in line with Public Contracting Regulations 2016. Then management of the contracts across three sites in Nepal. Works included seismic design of accommodation, gymnasium and the introduction of a structural design and two framework contracts.In addition I was the lead construction engineer in charge of all construction works on site, ensuring the product was to the British Standard and EuroNorms.

I led a team of 6 in the planning and then the coordination on a prestigious ball for British Gurkhas Nepal with guest including ambassadors, VIP guests, military defence attaché from multiple nations with a formal around the world theme.This included organisation of program, venue, entertainment, decorations, food and budget management. and the coordination of the event on the night.
