I am a Microsoft certified Power BI Data Analyst with 6years of experience. I have been involved in the end-to-end process of Power BI Deliverables. I have interacted with business to gather project/application requirements. I build Proof of concept (POC) to show what can be achieved with the data, I have built different interactive reports, dashboards and KPI's using the Power BI and business rules to deliver the key metrics to the consumers of my reports for efficient decision making. I am proficient in DAX, and I utilize the right visuals to tell stories, I implement role level security, incremental refresh on my report and share my report in the Power BI Service using apps. I have created and managed workspaces, managed deployment pipelines and deployed reports from Dev to test and Production environments. I also managed the Gateway for on premises data connection to the cloud, scheduled refreshes and managed the workspaces using the admin permissions. I have created Power BI Migration documentation to help business migrate already existing reports from Legacy systems to Power BI.I use the ALM Toolkit to perform partial deployments and visual studio for Model maintenance, repository and collaborations.I have built several canvas and model driven apps with the Power apps and have automated different flows to make the process easy for business and to ensure alerts are received if the data exceeds a given threshold. I have also pulled data from different sources such as SQL, Azure data factory, Snowflake, Teradata, Oracle, SharePoint, CSV and Excel.I have migrated reports from legacy systems to Power BI and trained users how to navigate these reports. I am particular in giving the consumers of my report a great UX experience so that they can be comfortable and find it easy to use my reports.I have also tuned existing reports to optimize their performance using the Performance analyzer and other third-party tools like DAX Studio, Vertipaq Analyzer etc.I am a team player and bring a lot of passion to my work. I have worked in using the Agile methodology to deliver in iterations and also been a part of the Software Development Life Cycle using JIRA, Kenban and Azure boards.
