In teams of three, fifty students wrote a 3 page essay about, built a model of, and presented on a city of their own creation 100 years in the future that focused on adapting and mitigating the effects of climate change, culminating in a grade-wide competition with local engineer judges. The winning group participated in the Colorado State Future City Competition at the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colorado- Organized and facilitated the school’s first Science Olympiad team
