The Captain has full authority to make executive decisions in order to preserve the life and safety of the crew and guests.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the safe navigation of the vessel;Responsible for the safety and life of every person on board;Fully responsible for crisis management and course of action in case of emergency;Acts as the main company ambassador in the ports of call, with company partners and guests;Ensures policy implementations and provides relevant instructions to staff ;Supervision of the execution of standard procedures;Ensures the application of MLC2006 laws on board;Monitoring the organization and the execution of emergency drills;Makes sure that any report is regularly transmitted to the shoreside offices;Ensures the ship’s full compliance with the ISPS procedures

Key Responsibilities Deputizing for the Captain in their absence and assume command if the Captain is incapacitated. Project a professional image when dealing with the customer and their employees. The safekeeping of a navigation watch. The operation of preventative maintenance system and upkeep of the hull, decks, superstructures. Stability of the vessel. Responsible for safe loading, unloading, ballasting, and deballasting operations. Overseeing and directing the deck department’s daily duties Ensuring TC & IACS rules and regulations are followed. Maintenance of log books and ship’s day to day business. Ensuring company ISM and QSMS policies and procedures are adhered to.
