I am currently pursuing a mechanical engineering degree. I hope to become an asset to help a company thrive and prosper. I’m interested in being part of a team that values its employees and has opportunity for growth.I have worked as a professional for 18 years, the last 3 years as a commercial electrician. I spent the previous 15 years in a production/manufacturing setting. The bulk of that time (12 years) I spent machining, running manual lathes, center less grinding, universal grinding, some manual mill, and CNC operating and setup. I have a capacity to hold tight tolerances, read blueprints, and learn quickly. I have worked with various types of materials such as 303/304/316/440/416 stainless steel, aluminum, brass, copper, bronze, titanium, tool steel, plastics (polycarbonate, polypropylene, Delrin, turcite, PVC...). I also have some experience welding, grinding, graining, sanding, tumbling parts, and utilizing measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, indicators, and comparators). In addition I have experience in shipping and receiving, inventory, assembly, plastic injection molding, forklift operating, delivery, and customer service. I look forward to growing and learning as much as possible to hone my skills and utilize them.
