During my internship, I was responsible for organizing and managing social media for multiple different company clients. My tasks varied depending on the client. For some, I organized and categorized how much social media content was made internally by the client company or was outsourced externally. For others, I helped expand their social media presence by reaching out with Influencers on Instagram to partner and become affiliates of the client. I also made a master document for one client, which contained every social media post on Instagram that had tagged the client. This experience has helped broaden my skills and introduce me to various different work situations that will help me in future jobs.

As a sales associate at Pier 1, I developed and used my customer service skills to communicate deals and promos to customers. During any downtime, I would always be doing something to better improve the customer experience. Whether that be straightening items or restocking shelves. I made it a personal goal to greet customers no later than 10 seconds after they entered the store. Customers would always compliment me about how welcoming I was. Before I worked at Pier 1, I did not know much about furniture or retail. I made a dedicated effort to learn all I could about it, so that I could help customers. These important values and skills I learned in this job have stayed with me.
