Project lead in epidemiological studies quantifying impact of extreme temperatures on public health

PhD-project ” On temperature related mortality in an elderly population and susceptible groups”.Using epidemiological and statistical methods I analysed the impact of heat waves and cold spells on mortality as well as its development across the 20th century. Project lead in a European collaboration within Public Health (PHASE). The project identified vulnerable groups in society in times of elevated temperatures and heat waves.

Used modern epidemiological and statistical methods to analyse the impact of heat waves on mortality and morbidity in vulnerable populations

Responsible statistician for different preclinical as well as Phase 1 studies.Developed robust non parametric methods used in preclinical trials.Developed new method for improving the results in AME Phase 1 studies.Performed statistical analyses for publications, mainly within Alzheimer’s disease.
