A Business Development Associate for the UK Aftermarket team within the Off & On Highway and Defence Markets. Plus, an additional Marketing assistance for the team. I have worked on customer account management, opportunity creation and evolution, forecasting, increasing sales pipeline and to cultivate new customer relationships. Developing strategic plans to help grow each market and ensure development within a demanding and ever evolving environment, such as engine replacement strategy which supported a over 10% service revenue AOP.

This job involves giving excellent customer service skills, being trained in 4 departments ranging from Fresh to Warehouse, working within a team and being able to adapt to different situations on a daily basis.

During my final year of University, I was lucky enough to be able to take part in X-Culture 2020. The programme involved working on an international project with 4 other students from across the globe. We worked together to create a high quality business plan for a multinational company. As the leader of the group, I was able to bring the team together despite language barriers, time zone differences and other hurdles along the way. This allowed me to develop my international communication, business strategy and consultancy skills. Having virtually met with the CEO, university professors and coaches, I was able to gain experience working with a live client and company. As a team we received a First-Class (1:1) mark for our work. I am especially proud of my own performance and peer-evaluation mark for the project. My peer-evaluation score was 4.7 out of 5, this put me in the top 10% of the 5,955 students that took part. I’m looking forward to being able to take the skills and experience I learnt to my next opportunity.

I have completed a year year placement at Cummins Inc working for the DBU Europe Marketing Team as a Marketing Assistant. This experience gave me experience in Digital marketing, Operational Marketing, Exhibition & Conference Management, working with different Global stakeholders and more. I was in charge of planning, executing and following up the Cummins Exhibition Stand for Europort 2019, part of a team that organised a Conference for over 250 European dealers and assisted with Filming in Norway for a Global Video. I was able to gain valuable experience from my time and I am looking to apply my knowledge to a new role.
