Methodically and thematically my studies have led me through the diverse areas of biology, biotechnology, biophysics, bioinformatics and other interdisciplinary life science fields. Through this multidisciplinary insight, I not only acquired a lot of knowledge, but also got to know many exciting people.Thus, my volunteer activities alongside my studies have helped me in many ways. In addition to local and national networking, I had many opportunities to expand my hard and soft skills. Both in the student council and in the btS, I brought and still bring my skills and creativity to a wide variety of projects.Especially my time as a board member and at the btS internal graphic workshops have shown me that a team is the best way to get ahead and that you can learn a lot from and with each other.Even before the pandemic, I noticed that I was not only good at working on the computer, but also enjoyed doing so. So, I was able to get insights in MatLab through my bachelor thesis, in Python, machine and deep learning through my master thesis. Through my employment at Sasol Germany, I got an insight into the Data Science area with Python and MS Power BI.I strive to continue to broad my horizon, to meet new people and fields of expertise and to master the next challenge on my life's path.
