Proactive, driven, and resourceful Russian interpreter. I recently received my BA at the University of Maryland - College Park, specializing in International Relations within the Government & Politics major while minoring in Spanish Language, Culture, and Professional Contexts. Over 4 years of experience in the fields of translation and interpretation, particularly between Russian and English; throughout my experiences translating and interpreting for clients varying from external organizations to individuals in settings such as hospitals, I have learned a lot about myself and my community. I strive to continue to grow through this line of work. Notably, I also volunteered as a Project Manager with Ukrainian NGO Donbas SOS for 5 years; I gained crucial experience during this time period with regard to team management, collection & dissemination of intelligence pertaining to armed conflict, humanitarian aid, and cooperative work with government officials and external organizations alike.I have also worked for 6 years as a soccer coach, and I've thoroughly enjoyed this experience because I enjoy the process of mentoring kids & applying my experience to guide them towards personal growth and athletic achievement. Currently, I am looking for positions in international development and foreign services.
