Daniel Saad Email and Phone Number
Hi there! I'm a full-stack software engineer with a unique background as an Optics Tech in the United States Marine Corps. It's quite unusual to find someone with experience in this field, as it's not well-known in the military.Initially, I didn't choose to be an Optics Tech, which made me uncertain about my decision to enlist in the Marines. However, as I started learning about fixing optics, lasers, and small missile systems, I grew to love the job. It amazed me how a high school student studying for finals one moment could transition to fixing complex systems in just a few months. This experience taught me that I can learn anything quickly when I put my mind to it. But that wasn't the only lesson I learned.Apart from falling in love with an unfamiliar job, I've had a wide range of experiences that have expanded my perspective. I viewed every experience as an opportunity to learn, regardless of its perceived size.Whether it was paying attention to detail by making my bed with tight, crisp corners or practicing accountability by meticulously counting mission-critical equipment twice a day with zero room for error, these skills have become ingrained in my mind. I now carry them over to both my workplace and everyday life.During my time in service, I developed a fascination with technology and the rapid pace of innovation. The fact that the internet has only been available for around 30 years and yet has transformed the world astonished me. Witnessing this progress led me to realize that I didn't want to limit myself to fixing gear; I wanted to be involved in building and designing new technologies. It was during a conversation with my friends from the tech industry that I became deeply intrigued by their careers. Their discussions about their work seemed foreign to me initially, so I would often reach out to them to gain a better understanding. This sparked a realization that this could be the path I had been searching for. As I embarked on my first course, learning the basics of JavaScript, I fell in love with software engineering. Since then, I have been on an exciting journey in the tech field, always eager to learn new things. My ultimate goal is to leverage my unique experiences and knowledge to make a significant impact. If you share the same drive and motivation, feel free to reach out to me anytime.
