I’ve worked in restaurants since I was 21 starting as a busboy then bar-back, runner, waiter, expediter and bartender as I worked on trying to establish myself in the music industry. In 2000, after an all too brief 6 year career in music, I decided to go back to restaurants and attended ICE where I got my degree in Culinary Arts and began cooking in restaurants. In 2004 I started working for Restaurant Associates as a 1st cook doing corporate dining. I’ve been with them for 16 years I’ve worked my way up to Sous chef and for the last 10 years to execute chef. I am a people person and enjoy working with the public. I believe that providing excellent customer service and excellent food are key to the success of any food service endeavor. I am well versed in food safety and unit safety protocols. I believe in team building and creating an enjoyable work environment. I work hard, lead by example and believe in instilling ownership in my employees to help them grow in their chosen careers.
