A communication officer is the first person you get in contact with when ringing the company or visiting us. We are the face of the company. We have to be professional and courteous at all the times 24/7. We respond to alarm notifications from Monitoring companies, despatching the mobile patrol officers or contacting the keyholders. We are the ones picking up the phone when our employees have a question in relation to their work or any incident when the local or branch management is off duty. We are the ones scrambling to cover the posts when officers ring in the last minute informing us that they won't be in at work for any reason. Our job is definitely not boring, sometimes exciting or even challenging. No two days are the same. I am sure I did not cover all aspects of our work; I was trying to give a taste for you ;-)
