As an International Trade Advisor, my role is to support businesses in the field of transportation to develop the accurate business strategies to access the North American market. Other tasks include:- advising the Administration on the better ways to market the know-how from Quebec in the United States and the rest of Canada- establish marketing strategies for the transportation sector, especially sustainable and autonomous transportation, targeting the American market- monitor transportation policies in other jurisdictions and advise our Administration of opportunities said policies might bring forth- Coaching new resources in the North American Markets Division

Supervision of the Economic team of the Office, covering 13 Western States. Our duty was to advise the Administration on the best opportunities matching the know-how of the Quebec industry with potential clients or partners. It was also the Economic Team's responsibility to support individual companies' business development efforts on the Western US market and organize trade missionsAdditionally, I was active in the sustainable transportation community, especially in California, representing Quebec in different forums about policy, sharing our province's vision and monitor other jurisdictions' initiatives.

Coordination of the North American markets team:- support other International Trade Advisors in their projects;Supervision and training of interns;- Support management in maintaining relationships with external partners (other government entities as well as business community)As Northeastern US Desk officer:- Managing counselling request from companies targeting New England and Mid-Atlantic markets;- Organizing trade missions- Evaluating the impact of trade policies on the opportunities and challenges for Quebec exporters.
