I’m an accomplished Information Security professional with over a decade of experience architecting secure and maintainable environments in a complex, fast paced and ever-changing industry, as well as maintaining critical assets. My professional journey with SpaceX began in 2014 with an Information Security Intern position, and I ultimately advanced to the Senior Information Security Engineer position that I currently occupy. This role has allowed me to take a comprehensive approach to managing all security systems and processes for highly technical and precise aerospace industry operations. These have included security systems upgrades and implementations, interconnected telemetry transfer systems, large scale satellite fleets, global ISP’s, and enhanced ground-to-orbit vehicle communication capacity.I’m proud to say that my comprehensive work on interconnected security and data information systems, as well as my collaborative leadership skills, serve to create an efficient and reliable security apparatus. I started out as a Help Desk Coordinator and was later promoted to the Client Systems Specialist position, allowing me to take on a comprehensive role where I took care of overseeing and maintaining all client systems – hardware, software, and third-party peripherals.
