I am a driven and dedicated individual who has forged an exciting path in the Australian Defence Force and the world of sports. In 2007, I decided to embark on a new chapter in my life and joined the Australian Defence Force as a Combat Engineer. I served with honour and commitment for seven years, including deployments to East Timor and Afghanistan. My time in the defence force showcased my resilience, discipline, and unwavering dedication to my duties to serve my country. In late 2012, I made the decision to separate from the defence, seeking new opportunities to make a difference in the world of sport. In 2016, my passion for sports began to take center stage in my life. I delved deeper into the world of performance, immersing myself in its various aspects. In 2017, my dedication paid off when I was fortunate enough to be selected for the Australian Invictus Games team. I competed in athletics and wheelchair rugby in Toronto, Canada, demonstrating my tenacity and determination. My performance and dedication led to my selection once again the following year, this time to compete in athletics in Sydney, Australia. While pursuing My athletic endeavours, I also dedicated myself to furthering my education and expertise in sports coaching. I successfully completed multiple educational projects, including a diploma in sports and various online courses, such as Altis, a world leader in coach education, gaining a solid foundation in sports science and performance. Additionally, I obtained coaching credentials in Australia, further enhancing my ability to guide and mentor athletes. My coaching prowess has resulted in successful athlete representation in their respective sports at many different levels.I understand that the world of sports is constantly evolving, and I thrive to stay ahead of the curve. I believe in the importance of keeping my finger on the pulse of industry trends and advancements in technology such as computervision to remain effective as a practitioner. My approach to learning acknowledges that the more I know, the more I realise how much there is to learn.
