The daily application of knowledge of radiation monitoring instrumentation and methods to safely complete radiological work within the shipyard at PSNS. Continually tasked with the oversight and auditing of radiological work requiring the ability to interpret and apply federal, state, and local rules and regulations regarding radiation and contamination control. Trained and knowledgeable in the principles and practices of radiation safety and exposure reduction. Trained and knowledgeable in the application of laboratory procedures and instrumentation, such as multi-channel analyzers, proportional counters, and Gamma Object/Tool Monitors (Cronos-4 and Cronos-11).

The SeaGnar Film Festival is a local video show that serves as a vehicle to meet and greet members of the Seattle whitewater community as well as raise money for a good cause.

In November of 2010 I was approached by Canoe & Kayak magazine and asked to put together a 30 minute video as an introductory piece for the local showing of "Wildwater" by Anson Fogel. Prior to this I had never edited footage or even recorded video on anything other than a Gopro.5 years later, I shoot and edit video and still photography; depicting the natural beauty in the Pacific Northwest. I spend most of my weekends on or near a river in Washington, Oregon or Idaho and I try to capture the moments away from civilization and cellphones that make the 9-5 job worth the effort.The bulk of my work is action, watersports oriented.

The 2010 Professor Paddle Ball was an all out, 3 day event with the aim of raising money for a fallen kayaker and getting as many whitewater enthusiasts together in one place as possible.
