Working for the highly respected automotive research centre, Thatcham Research. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, my role of Chief Digital Officer forms part of the Management Board with accountability for defining and delivering our IT / Digital transformation and operational strategies.Examples of projects delivered include:• Internal – Transformation of communication and security services to Microsoft 365• Internal – Accreditation to ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials information security standards• Internal/External – Development of a bespoke research data management platform• Internal – Transformation of data and analytics services• External – Re-platforming of insurance risk data services to Cloud/API powered technologyThe influx of new vehicle technologies is rapidly changing the way we interact with cars.
