Over 10 years of experience within the automotive industry, has equipped me with a robust set of skills ranging from media relations and brand building, to internal and executive communications.Currently, as a Ford Blue Utilities Communications Manager, I oversee the public relations strategy for several of Ford’s best selling nameplates. I leverage my expertise in project management and brand storytelling to create compelling activations that showcase Ford’s commitment to quality, excellence and the Built-Ford-Tough persona.I have a Master of Arts in Strategic Communications from Michigan State University and a Bachelor of Science in Professional, Technical, Business, and Scientific Writing from Spring Arbor University. I also have more than two years of experience in internal communications, where I planned and created editorial content and engagement activities that educated and shared business information with employees about GM's electrification portfolio and strategy, autonomous technology, and GM’s Zero Crashes, Zero Emissions and Zero Congestion vision. I supported key executives and leaders by developing communications plans, media talking points, materials for speaking engagements and internal communications content.I'm passionate about storytelling and its power to captivate, inspire and motivate.
