Currently while at Kryger Glass I feel I've made a home, lifelong friends, and the skies the limit. Like most the places I've been employed by I'm always looking on the up and up. I started off in shop doing automotive glass and still do. However, they use me a lot now that I've worked my way around all facets of glass. Sometimes I'm out glazing, doing commercial or residential units. Sometimes I'm mobile automotive. Sometimes I'm back cutting mirror, fixing storms, or cutting lami to pattern. I go out and do measures when needed. Wherever they need me I'm there. My ambitions for the future are to be in a management role in a shop or, eventually, become a master glazier. My past experience as head of Graphics at Kansas City Tent & Awning and working for EC manufacturing combined with my time at Kryger has really set me up to be a beneficial leader in just about any type of production campaign. At KC Tent nothing got done until I was done. So I was the source for all things in motion. This taught me real quick how to stay on my toes, be thinking ahead, and multi-tasking to a very high degree. Not much was different at EC except I was in charge of a line that ran 13 machines and was in charge of 50+ employees. Not only was I a tech that had to keep all machines running proficiently I also had to keep morale up. This place did highlight my best talents though. Knowing people. Who to pair them with. What their strengths were. Not only did I realize how good of a leader I could be, I learned that empathy had a great deal to do with that success. If people are patient, if they take a chance and give me a shot, they find out real quick they have found someone they can completely trust to get the thing done and done right.
