I worked as an experiment coordinator. My key responsibilities included scheduling of research sessions and work hours for the rest of the team, reporting, recruitment and training of new research assistants, participant management and propagation related to the recruitment of research participants. I have improved my communication skills as I needed to effectively convey key information. This was important for consistent explanation of procedures to participants and training of new research assistants for the particular procedure. During preparation periods of the experiment, I have consulted improvements of research procedures and manuals with the researchers to make sure the data collection is clear and stable, producing high quality data.As a head of a team of research assistants, I have also gained experience gathering data in experimental research. In the project I worked on, we used technologies and methods such as motion capture, pain threshold measurement, VR, EKG, or economic games.

AIESEC was my introduction to the reality of a corporate world. The organization's lower levels operate in semestral periods and for one semester I was able to become a part of the organization's efforts.As a part of the Incoming Global Talent team, I offered companies the possibility to accept students and graduates from abroad to gain work experience in Czechia. Afterwards, I led meetings and consulted companies about their specific needs in a partnership. I also accepted companies' position offers and advised on how to make the position more attractive for potential applicants from different markets. I have gained experience with Hubspot which was used to manage our external relationships.

As a part of the Czech Academic Choir, I had many opportunities to grow as an artist and a performer. I took part in various projects in cooperation with professional orchestras and renowned organisations. Among them are the Czech Chamber Philharmonic, the Košice State Philharmonic and the National Theatre Brno. With the choir, I have performed various genres of music, often choral, spiritual and folk music. The ensemble has long-term close cooperation with National Theatre Brno. We have worked on opera performances Miracles of Mary (Bohuslav Martinů), Love from Afar (Kaija Saariaho), Monument (Marko Ivanović) and Greek Passion (Bohuslav Martinů). I also had the opportunity to participate in the Great War Choir of a popular power metal band Sabaton during their European tour in 2019.I have ended my cooperation with the ensemble when I have decided to pursue a more technical career and was not able to invest appropriate amount of time into the efforts.

In this position, I co-managed a project focused on organization of various events such as concerts, outdoor theatres, or local markets. We also cooperated with parties who wished to use the area for their own events, such as festivals of veteran vehicles and assisted with the organization. I worked on planning and coordination of events and communicated with clients who wished to use the area for their events.I left this position to continue my full-time studies in Brno, since the online learning established during the pandemic was over.

I used to work with a Lionbridge branch focused on testing games that were in the late part of their development. The position required me to fulfill various instructions in-game during crowd testing. The work consisted of participating in load, stress, soak, or spike tests, exploratory searching for defects according to pre-assigned test scenarios, and reporting of the process. I learned how to systematically perform demanding actions and follow complex instructions while paying attention to detail during the process. My cooperation with Lionbridge ended as the testing was done remotely on personal devices and at the time, my device no longer had sufficient performance for testing of the latest titles.
