- Designed 60 roof trusses to CSA S16-14 specifications for a large transit facility; calculated loads, analyzed and sized sections using Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis (RSA), modelled and drafted trusses on Revit. Enabled efficient truss design by automating model setup and load input with a Python scripts that interacted with RSA- Mitigated vibrations felt on second floor of school by analyzing existing composite floor and joist system with RSA and designing reinforcements to mitigate acceleration using AISC Design Guide 11, wrote succinct structural design report for client explaining assumptions and decisions- Modelled existing hospital building in RSA to conduct analysis of concrete slab strength with proposed new openings to inform decisions regarding opening spacing and size- Updated SAP2000 model for existing steel moment frame in industrial building to include new crane loads, then designed reinforcements for columns to increase capacity as per AISC-360-10

Salga Associates is a plastics blow-moulding manufacturing company located in Vaughan, Ontario. They produce plastic car parts such as HVAC ducts, windshield washer fluid bottles, and brake ducts.My main projects were aiding process engineers, quality engineers, and production managers by conducting capability studies, revising safety work instructions, and performing basic statistical analysis. My final large assignment was to create a manufacturing schedule optimization program. Using Python and OpenSolver via Excel, this program took demand inputs, considered constraints on production capability such as worker availability and machine abilities, and outputted a production schedule.
