Currently I am working as a band 6 Principal Radiopharmacy Technician.I have over 18 years experiance of working in the NHS as a pharmacy technician.I have at least 3 years experience of working with Radiopharmaceuticals and have had experience working in radiopharmacy at Bart's health. I have had experience of working with ionizing radiation, and know the relevant health and safety, and Ionizing regulations to maintain minimum exposure, following the ALARA principles.During my experince at Guy's and Barts Radiopharmacy I have been involved in quality control testing, preparartion of radiopharmaceuticals and ordering stock for the radiopharmacy through the Oracle ordering system/NHS supply chain. I have had experience of learning and using various software systems in a variety of NHS trusts to carry out various processes throughout every department I have worked in.During my previous experience of working in the NHS I have had experience of both supervisory and performance management, this has involved collating evidence and other performance indicators for presentation in a management meeting. As a result I have had the opportunity to learn and apply the SMART goals for all staff members to be able to monitor staff performance.Through internal activity competency records I have gained experience in competency based training and assessing students competence to a recognized standard. I have also completed the A1 Vocational Assessor Award to be able to assess competence of candidates using a variety of assessment methods.I have several years of experience working in various Aseptic units accross London, including also pharmacy manufacturing units making sterile and non sterile unlicenced medicines.
