The Client Technologies Technician configures and installs IS users’ desktops and laptops. Involved in the installation and roll-out of new software packages, upgrades and new desktop hardware. Maintains desktop software and hardware. Supports mobile workforce. Provides Tier 2 support to IS users for basic software and hardware end-user computer and desktop-based LAN systems.

Perform diagnostics, assessments, and repair of hardware and equipment used in NY Vehicle Inspection Program (NYVIP2)Replace/update software programsAbility to use various tools and diagnostic software/equipment Complete preventative maintenance of equipmentAble to listen attentively to customers and recommend solutions and resolve often complex technical problemsUtilize electronic service tracking program to accurately document customer calls, diagnostic test results, and repairsPossess extensive product knowledge; perform product demonstrations and in-service trainingAverage 200+ service calls per month, covering the largest geographic territory in New York stateMaintain excellent relationship with customer site managers in assigned territoryMaintain work vehicle inventory, tools, and equipment

•Perform on-site trouble shooting and repairs on NYVIP equipment including PC, Printer, OBDII, Barcode Scanner & Cables •Assist in warehouse with testing, repair and reimagining IBM/Lenovo PC and printers for NYVIP program•Answer and advise other NYVIP service techs when needed.
