Dan is a seasoned member of the food industry having worked as both a Restaurateur and a Food Truck Operator. In 2011 he co-founded the Philadelphia Mobile Food Association and served as its Inaugural President for 2 years. During that time he established the association's bylaws, planned events and represented over 130 food truck operators in the Metropolitan Philadelphia area. In 2014 Dan served as General Manager of Prime Stache in Philadelphia, where he launched and oversaw daily operations of the restaurant as well as successfully integrated food truck operations to enhance brand awareness and reach of their bricks-and-mortar establishment. Dan also successfully operated his own fleet of trucks under the brand Lil Dan’s Gourmet Foods. Additionally, Dan has extensive corporate sales experience with the Coca-Cola Bottling Company where he honed his skills in corporate event sales, event organization, and management. Dan is recognized nationally as an expert in Food Truck Operations, Organization, Sales, Marketing, and General Management, and is a frequent speaker at National Conferences and Events including ROAM National Food Truck Conference September 2013 & November 2014; “Thinkfest” a production of Philly Mag September 2013; Sam-Adams Brewing the American Dream March, March 2014 & 2015. Dan is also a seasoned leader in the restaurant industry. Successfully led teams of 300 staff members and managed budgets of up to 20 million.
