My responsibilities were to:• Visit three customer plants in USA once a month and review the line rejects motors.• Take care of the corrective actions that all our customers require us because the line rejects or the field reject motors. Some of them in a 5D and others in an 8D format.• Have our PFMEA updated• I worked on implementing a Mistake Proofing philosophy in the plant. I did the Mistake Proofing procedure and I lead this project. • Work on Green Belt project. • Support and solve the production line process regarding to quality issues.• Participate in the Tear Down Meetings with customers, and engineering in St. Louis, MO.• Request process deviation and/or ECO when requested.

My responsibilities in this position were to:• Audit to the quality of finished good motors at Motores Reynosa and to focus on the audit as if I were the customer. To accomplish this I needed to understand many specification that were on the manufacturing drawing board. To work with tools like the caliper, the torque meter, the micrometer, the shadow graph, the ohmmeter, the voltmeter, etc.• Follow the corrective actions for any kind of nonconformance in the audit. • Report the Customer Focused Audit to the Managers of Motores Reynosa, the quality director of Emerson Appliance division, the engineers at motor technology center in St. Louis, MO and others via E-mail• Assist the UL representative and follow the UL samples status
