Daniel is a researcher and the leader of the Technologies for Sustainable Development group at the Institute of Applied Research and Technology of Universidad Iberoamericana (UIA), one of the most prestigious private universities in Mexico. He has a Master's degree in Industrial Design Engineering from the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands and is currently pursuing a PhD in Engineering Sciences, with a focus on community-based microgrids and appropriate technology solutions.With over seven years of experience as an independent consultant and a former project manager for renewable energy projects, Daniel has developed and supervised multiple projects involving biomass, CHP, and PV systems. He has also published several articles on energy markets, local governance, and sustainability in international journals. As an instructor and a member of the Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Advisory Board at UIA, he shares his knowledge and passion with students and colleagues. Daniel's mission is to drive sustainable and efficient energy solutions that empower communities and protect the environment.
