Daniel is CEO of Psychae Therapeutics a biotechnology company developing innovative pharmaceutical grade DMT-based medicines. He is also Co-Executive Director of the Psychae Institute, Adjunct Associate Professor in the Centre for Mental Health at Swinburne University, and a Senior Research Fellow in the School of Population and Global Health at the University of Melbourne. Prior to joining Psychae he was the Director of the Office of Medicinal Cannabis in the Victorian Department of Health. Daniel is currently an investigator on several clinical studies investigating the use of psychedelic compounds and has lead a range of naturalistic studies investigating benefits and harms associated with the use of ayahuasca and related preparations.
