Hello,My name is Daniel Perkowski, and I am a commercial pilot with an instrument rating. I also received my Certified Flight Instructor Certificate w/ Instrument in January 2023 at Venture North Aviation in Cloquet, Minnesota. My major is flight management and I am pursuing a bachelor's degree in science. My next step is to get my multi-engine rating. Besides school, I work for IDS (Integrated Deicing Services) at O’hare. My experience with aviation has taught me a lot about the importance of safety all while being efficient. Deicing has shown me that you can do both, saving resources and cleaning the aircraft for a safe takeoff. Some of the skills that I hold are good crew communication, good decision-making, advocate for safety, quick learner, and someone who is always trying to improve both in aviation and as a man.
