Designed and taught units on Black History Month, physical geography, and the Second World War. Worked closely with learning support teachers to support our students with designations. Organized an in-person presentation from a Hiroshima survivor

Designed and taught units on residential schools, the Middle-Ages, and natural resource conflicts in Canada. Collaborated with other French Immersion staff to support our students with designations.

Pedaled from Montreal to Vancouver to raise $22,000 for the creation of the Canadian Freedom Collaborative, a global anti-trafficking database.

Amman, Jordan

Developed a new fundraising strategy while improving my spoken Arabic. Connected with the business community in Amman and abroad in order to raise support for the annual Ramadan Fundraiser.

Thetis Island, British Columbian

Spent two summers working at Pioneer Camp, organizing camp maintenance with a team of 25 teenagers. Coordinated and led multiple overnight paddling trips. Mediated conflicts and used my first aid skills

Vancouver International Airport

Worked with airport operations to ensure passenger satisfaction. Assisted passengers with French and Spanish translation. Operated baggage belts and coordinated customs hall procedures while working a wide range of shifts

Limache, Chile

Participated in the English Opens Doors program, sponsored by the United Nations. Taught English in a Spanish-speaking public school in rural Chile. Coordinated with teachers to design lesson plans. Lived with a Chilean family to improve my Spanish.
