From this i was then chosen for a JNCO cadre to become a non commisioned officer. I completed my JNCO cadre placing top third of a highly competative group of 120 proffesional soldiers. upon my promotion i was quickly selected to complete warrior IFV gunnery and vehicle commander cadres. Completing gunnery as top student. I was then deployed on multiple exercises as a vehicle commander being responsible for my crew of three, and 7 mounted troops in the vehicle, demonstrating my proficiency in fast paced, high pressure armoured combat on exercises in salisbury plain and canada. I competed in the prestigious Bisley shooting competition placing in the top 100 of the 1000+ competitors and best shots in the army, winning awards for best novice team. Other notable achievements are competing for my battalion in Nordic and Alpine skiing also winning awards for best novice team. -

I became profficient in use of radios (bowman) and demostrated my skills dealing with multiple live firemissions during OP cabrit 1, Estonia on a 9 month deployment. We worked closely with the US airborne, French Foreign Legion and the French Marines on multiple fast paced, high profile, armoured excercises, designed to combat the growing eastern threat. -
