For three years I worked as an E&I Technician, maintaining and servicing a vast array of instrument and electrical process control systems. The work is of a hazardous nature, and therefore required a strong commitment to safety and caring for one another. I was expected to work to a schedule to diagnose faults, install, maintain, calibrate and commission process control systems, analysers and electrical distribution systems that run the refinery.
