Facilities Manager
CurrentOversee 4 different properties equalling 209,042 sqft, not including the grounds. Requiring me to implement upgrades, repairs, clean-up, and future building projects. I oversee renovation projects to improve efficiency or ensure that facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health, and security standards. I influence and oversee building renovation projects by recommending energy-saving alternatives or efficiencies that reduce waste. In addition, I continually monitor the facilities to ensure that it remains safe, secure, and well maintained. I am also responsible for directing staff, including grounds maintenance workers, janitors and building cleaners, and general maintenance and repair workers. I have been taking on the project manager role in recent years working with engineers on projects and putting bids out for services involved with projects.Have been developing RFPs for the past 2 years, utilizing my connections in the development phase to be sure that verbiage and necessary information is included with the work.
