About Daniel Piggins
Started out as a support worker mainly in a mental health acute setting within the private sector. Once qualified I returned to work in the personality disorder unit then being part of the team that opened up the sites first female PICU.Following this returned back to a mixed acute.I have spent some time on a mixed rehab and recovery unit focusing on wellbeing and recovery.And currently moved over to the NHS in female acute admissions. I love improving services and quality. Staff mindset is a powerful tool, starting work in a positive way helps our patients through transference.There is a role for both researched based interventions and holistic interventions.Mental health is individual and not one treatment works for everyone.
