As Head Associate, I have to support a team of Associates in the development of their careers at deVere Spain by training, monitoring and encouraging them in their roles on a day-to-day basis, in addition to the training from managers. Furthermore, I also had to focus on acquiring new clients that have recently relocated to Europe and servicing existing clients with a variety of portfolios and making sure that they are greatly satisfied with the service and the products we offer.

I sat on the US Family Office team specialising in US and UK tax;I worked on an individual project to create templates for tax reports and streamline the process of creating a report in excel, using advanced formulas and Macros;Using the templates and process I created I also prepared US and UK client tax reports;Worked on a number of side projects from portfolio valuations and construction and investment strategies to creating tax summaries for Americans living abroad in certain European countries;Handled highly private information which must be kept confidential;Overall I gained great exposure to what it is really like working in a wealth management firm through attending activities such as weekly meetings, team training sessions and exposure to all desks.

Audited work sites, taking attention to detail and checking the work has been finished to required level;Communicated back to the Operations Director any defects via email or phone;Populating asset manager database to enable future recovery of cables.
