I entered the world of books in 1979, at the age of 10, as a character. I was the inspiration for my mother to write Zero Zero Alpiste, her first book and which is still in print today. A few years later, I actually started my career as a handyman at Contexto, a publishing house created in 1987 by my father. After a brief break, I returned in 1995 to be a partner and responsible for the administrative, financial and commercial aspects of Contexto. I did an MBA in retail and a master's degree at FEA/USP with a dissertation on digital books. In 2016, I opened Editora Labrador, a premium self-publishing company. In 2023 I took on the role of editor director at the Brazilian Chamber of Books (CBL). With a writer father and mother, being a character and working in the industry for over 35 years, I couldn't help but be passionate about the publishing market. More than that, I always continue to study business and management models to perpetuate and distribute this wonder that is the book, printed or digital.
