SPAR is the biggest privately owned organization in Austria with more than 50,000 employees. It also has operations in Croatia, Italy, Hungary and Slovenia (in total more than 90,000 employees). SPAR is the leading market groceries retailer in Austria.As a chief of the “Fruits and vegetables” department in my store, I am responsible for the setting and quality execution of all daily operations, for achieving our targets and for providing excellent customer experience. I take care that we always have a wide variety of fresh products and that these are readily available, so that our customers can benefit from them and live a healthier life. I am also responsible for weekly monitoring and analyzing the key data of my department (e.g. sales, pricing, inventory, food waste) with the goal to ensure sustainable growth of our revenue and profit over the years.

Thanks to my experience at SPAR, I gained valuable know-how related to the FMCG sector, customer service and process management. I am proud to work in a truly team environment. Through this I also improved significantly my German skills.

Velomania Ltd. is one of the leading Bulgarian manufacturers, retailers and distributors of bicycles, cycling components and accessories. Next to its own products, the company is a key partner for more than 50 world-famous bicycle brands.After 5 years in the company and a deeper experience in the market of bicycles and cycling products, I took the great opportunity to lead the online store and to contribute to its evolution. Together with my team, we expanded its operations, added new functionalities and improved its performance. I was responsible to negotiate the logistics services and to continuously optimize the online ordering and delivery processes. Thanks to continuous improvements, our online store became the biggest in Bulgaria for bicycles, bicycle components and accessories. Our business model was perceived as a best practice even by our competition. For the time spend on this position I managed to increase the revenue of the online store with a three-digit percentage.

Starting as a member of the sales team in Velomania Ltd. allowed me to collect first experience in retail business and to work in a team environment. I really enjoyed working directly with our B2B and B2C customers and to support their needs. This gave me the opportunity to increase my responsibilities and to develop new skills.
