Daniel Powell is the President and Managing Director of SourceWest Partners an Executive Search and Talent Management Firm.With a primary focus on helping his clients achieve top-line revenue growth, Mr. Powell has extensive experience with the assessment, placement, and development of senior leaders and their teams. He brings to his role at SourceWest a diverse set of operational experiences having served as president, general manager and sales leader to both small/mid size companies as well as fortune 100 Enterprises. Prior to establishing SourceWest Partners, Mr. Powell was a Partner at the Executive Search Firm of Korn/Ferry International.Before entering the search and consulting business, Mr. Powell was formerly the president of Newgen Results Corporation, a Teletech company. Earlier, he held a number of key leadership positions including Senior Vice President, Oce North America and Corporate Vice President, Toshiba America Information Systems where he also served as General Manager of its Relationship Business Unit. Mr. Powell also spent over 25 years with Xerox Corporation and served as Senior Vice President and General Manager for the North American Solution Group. He also served as a member of the senior validation team during Xerox’s successful quest for the Malcolm Baldridge National Quality Award.Mr. Powell is a visiting Professor at the University of California, San Diego, Rady School of Management, a certified Executive Coach and Human Resource Professional. He has also served on a number of boards including Percepta, a joint venture of Ford Motor Company.
