Presently, I am a Deputy Team Leader for 1 of 5 teams in the QA department of Reassured. My team is comprised of a Team Leader along with 6 auditors who each complete a varying number of audits per day on sales staff to ensure that the necessary legal, regulatory, underwriting and quality requirements for sold life insurance policies and related products are met. My duties include:- Daily undertaking and completing audit reviews on QA Officers, providing written feedback where issues are found- Providing face-to-face and online/zoom/facetime feedback to team members for issues found in completed audits, improving understanding and performance- Supervising team members throughout the working day, offering support, guidance and encouragement with overall output and decision making to enable achievement of set productivity and accuracy goals- Training new and existing staff to learn the relevant auditing processes and frameworks, and coaching and mentoring current team to develop appropriate competencies and knowledge neccesary for their current role and beyond- Leading and creating bi-monthly calibrations to raise awareness of common trends to maintain consistency of decision making and improvement of performance - Assisting the QA Manager and other teams through completing performance/business reports as and when required- Completing monthly 1-2-1s to aid with performance management and personal development- Travelling to different sites to assist with training, feedback and other duties as and when required- Deputising for Team Leader as and when required
