Responsible for everything that a Ship or Vessel will require when it comes to a port on the Great Lakes (Lake Michigan/Huron). This includes and not limited to: arranging labor for lading or unlading of cargo/ providing proper documentation sent to U.S. Customs and Border Patrol Office/ scheduling medical or dental treatment for crew members as required / setting up time for bunkering of the vessel (fueling/water) / working as a representative for the owner of the vessel / purchasing provisions for vessels that require fresh produce, dairy, and other items / ensuring that line handlers are scheduled for arrival and departure / updating authorities, owners of the cargo, owners of the vessel, lead agencies, and port managers of the progression of the lading/unlading of the cargo/ providing cost estimates for Agencies that have cargo for a specific port / arranging tug boats for arrival, departure, and shifting of vessel / arranging payment for all Customs fees for entry-clearance into a U.S. Port(s) / working as a go-between for labor-port management and vessel captain-owners / AMS entries for foreign cargo

Research of other universities that offer degrees like Supply Chain Management, Material Management, Logistics Management, Transportation or other related majors. Then accumulating the required course and selective course requirements.Tabulating the information into a concise break down for presentation at several academic conferences.

Assisted Students and Faculty with problems with accessing the network, verified individuals identification and resetting their passwords. Periodically assisted with computer issues in classrooms, projectors, surround sound, computer connectivity. Assigned service tickets to the correct departments to expedite the service calls being resolved.

Fleet Manager: Responsible for dispatching multiple drivers. This includes ensuring the driver understands preplans offered. Verifying that the driver can indeed make on-time delivery on the offered preplan. Communicating with drivers using the in truck PeopleNet satellite messaging system. Daily duties of printing out report twice a day to ensure that the driver is good for on-time delivery. Keeping up to date record of personnel record for good and bad write-ups.

Receiving Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge (NCOIC): Receiving and processing assetsthrough the internet based supply system. Submitting discrepancy reports of assets received in error of quantity, condition, wrong item received. Processing discrepant material correctly in accordance with Air Force Manual 23-110. Loading and unloading many forms of deliver vehicles from pickups to large flatbed semis. Operating several forms of material handling equipment.• Special Assets (NCOIC): Maintaining, updating, storing of mobility bag assets for the approximate 1,500 members of the unit. Included: issuing bags to individuals deploying around the world. Maintaining inventory of assets to ensure the highest percentage of deployable ready assets is maintained. Submitting monthly reports to higher headquarters monthly on the status of deployable assets.• Storage and Distribution: Storing, inventorying, and maintaining storage rooms within the warehouse. Producing and completing multiple reports to ensure that all locations with warehouse were up-to-date, to maximize the use of all locations assigned. Pulling requested assets from storage to fill request of customers.• Supply Inspector (NCOIC): Maintained locations and reports of Quality Discrepancy Report (QDR) Program. Inspecting assets turned in from maintenance of weapon system assets. Processing assets through the supply system to ensure that assets are shipped to proper depot- level maintenance locations. Assets that are serviceable are turned-in and put back into stock of the supply warehouse. Ensured that all assets located on the QDR report are accounted for and updated information in check via secure QDR webpage. Processing multiple reports for inventory of bin rows within warehouse. Maintaining a schedule of inspection of shelf-life and pilfer able assets stored within the Warehouse. Updating Technical Orders in binders for current and future updates to the aircraft.
