I am a senior member within the Blue Badge team assessing individual and organisation Blue Badge applications against DfT criteria, along with assessing and triaging complex cases and reviewing cases declined at the initial assessment stage. I also liaise with outside organisations to coordinate expert assessment of applications.

Within my role at MK Warehousing, I was responsible for many day to day operations such as: data analysis, stock listings, developing marketing and branding, stock control and enforcement and general technical support to all staff.

My main tasks in this role were varied; however, they revolve around providing excellent customer service- I won the store award for “Star Service” after receiving a high level of positive feedback from customers. During my time at The Little Chef I gained many skills through working in a fast paced hospitality environment. The most important one in my opinion is being able to diplomatically solve problems to create a positive atmosphere and experience. Throughout my time there, the company has changed a number of procedures, to which I rose to the challenge- new guidelines and targets were set, which I consistently broken, by beating the targets tenfold.

I volunteered at a nature reserve run by the Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust. My duties were mainly performing manual work, however, due to the nature of the position the work was varied and I partook in activities requiring team work, sometimes leading the team.
