I was lucky enough to be given the lead as Club Manager at the Newcastle club which opened in October 2017. My first priority was to build up to a successful presale. I recruited staff and implemented training in order to become the leading health club within Newcastle.

Responsible for the smooth running of the club when in operation, I deal with anything from reception queries to making sure showers are presentable. I also deal with any incoming sales enquiries and also responsible for generating new business etc

Currently leading the Sales department at our most exclusive club in Westminster, London, I ensure monthly targets are achieved as well as growing the club financially. I am responsible for net member movement, monthly direct debit monthly yield and promotion & advertising budgets within the club. I have also taken on some of the operational responsibilities including staff training, maintenance operations and I can be known as the 'go to guy' for help and assistance.Since relocating from the North East, I had started with our Grove Park club in South East London and swiftly moved on to Millbank, Westminster. Since then I have gained a mass of experience in the operational side of the club as well as being able to grow the club's membership base in the months that I have been at Millbank. I believe with further investment planned for mid 2016, the club will grow even further and become more of a prestige boutique location.

I was part of a small central team who dealt with website enquiries throughout all of our 61 exclusive health clubs. Building rapport and selling the benefits of a healthier lifestyle were the key attributes within the role along with being able to express the USP's of each club while developing that relationship with a prospect. Targeted each month, I achieved this as well as my own personal targets

I started in March 2015 as a Summer Outdoor Instructor. I instructed groups of people around our high ropes course. This included conducting safety briefings to both adults and children, demonstrating equipment, providing advice and encouragement around the course and most importantly engaging with the customer

I ran the sports centre attached to Thornaby Academy. I promoted the centre through the creation of successful marketing campaigns and local events. I brought in new business in order to increase the profits of the Sport Centre, we could then improve facilities and ensure the customer is getting the best quality for their money. We hired out any available space we have from food technology classrooms to grass pitches. I employed two members of staff.

Promoting the health club through successful marketing campaigns such as Exercise Smarter, Join with a Partner. Developing e-flyers and compiling mail merges for campaigns. Booking in appointments for prospects to view the facility and join up. Following up on all qualified leads who have viewed facility and booking back in for sign up appointment. Competitor analysis of local health clubs to determine where we are in the marketplace. I also compiled the Bannatyne health club discount guide which is given to new members.
