My experience and interests are in the operational finance and business improvement aspects of an organisaton, specifically understanding cost bases and cost drivers, focusing on key improvement projects, systems refinement and internal control. Experience within industry and professional services has developed a strong foundation and also enables embracement of continuous improvement and change.Currently I’m within the team at Fortescue Metals Group as the Commercial Manager of the Cloudbreak operation. This role encompasses both the financial management and business improvement functions, working with the whole of site management team to achieve company objectives. Away from work my interests include aviation and yachting. I’m a qualified private pilot and an active member of multiple flying clubs. I enjoy the challenge, discipline and process which flying delivers. I’m also a commercially endorsed Yachtmaster, aspects in yachting I enjoy are cruising and passage making, particularly enjoying the team work and camaraderie.
