Sr. Nuclear Fuel Handler/Reactor Services Technician
CurrentResponsible for the maintenance, surveillance and function as the primary operator of Refuel Bridge for fuel movement; to perform related work as assigned. Typical examples of duties are: Fuel receipt, inspection, preparation and movement. Operation of cranes, systems and equipment associated with Fuel Handling activities. All fuel pool activities involving such work as: cleanup, storage, loading of casks and packaging of irradiated materials. Dry cask storage activities including cask preparation, loading, drying and assisting with cask sealing, cask movement operations and storage. Receiving, packaging of equipment for shipping, storing and preparing for use refuel equipment such as filter units, refuel tooling, lifting devices and plugs. Level II V.T. inspections as assigned. Support IVVVI and IS! work. Assist with cavity wall washing and general decon activities of equipment and floors. Cavity set-up for flood up and drain down, including installation and removal of equipment such as flange protectors, cattle chutes and weir plates. Installation and maintenance of foreign material exclusion (FME) areas around vessel and pools. Retrieval of foreign materials as assigned. Pre-outage set-up, mobilization and demobilization/restoration of the refuel floors, BWR fuel buildings and PWR containment as assigned.

FCC UnitAnalyzes specifications and controls continuous operation of petroleum refining and processing units to produce products, such as gasoline, kerosene, and fuel and lubricating oils, by such methods as distillation, absorption, extraction, adsorption, thermal and catalytic cracking and reforming, polymerization, isomerization, coking, visbreaking, and alkylation: Reads processing schedules, operating logs, test results of oil samples, and laboratory recommendations to determine changes in equipment controls required to produce specified quantity and quality of product.Perform LOTO on process equipment. Fire Brigade Member.
Fuel Handling Operator
Operate, inspect, maintain, and lubricate such fuel handling equipment as conveyors, trippers, crushers, feeders, screens, stackers, and loaders, ash and slag handling equipment, dust control and bag houses.Shift railroad cars by operating Locomotives and pullers and manipulating cables; operate car heating equipment; inventory railroad cars; act as a weigh master; prepare locomotives for operation and standby, and other related railroad car activities.Operate, inspect and lubricate ash handling cranes, car dumpers and auxiliary equipment, locomotive and gantry cranes, fuel handling mobile equipment such as tractor-bulldozer-scraper combinations, vacuum trucks, street sweepers, water wagons, backhoes.Prepare work permits and administer the LOTO program or similar systems, as it applies to the equipment under the control of the Fuel Handling Operator. Inspect, repair, adjust, service, and troubleshoot equipment. Maintain records of coal cars, and tonnages and input information into computerized system. Train incoming Fuel Handling Operators to fully qualified status. FIRST AID/CPR/AED Certified and Fire Guide QualifiedWrite work orders and input data. Maintain equipment and working area in a clean condition including shoveling, vacuuming, washing, sweeping and other cleaning methods. Perform electrical disconnect switching and grounding; perform electrical and mechanical operations to place equipment in and out of service safely for permit work. Racking in and out of 480V and 4160V circuit breakers. Conduct shift change by briefing the incoming Fuel Handling Operators of current plants status and issues. Adjust belt scrapers, and side seals; align feeder belts.Utlize computer-based management systems as made available for operations and management requirements
