My responsibilities included but not limited to:- Working jointly with the JumiaPay COO, Jumia Kenya's CEO, CFO, CCO and Head of Vendor Support and Operations in laying the foundation for the successful launch and commercialization of JumiaPay E-wallet. - Developing and implementation of the initial SOPs for JumiaPay Group own lending via marketplace and development of its own mobile wallet.- Working closely with the Jumia Financial Services COO and JumiaPay PMO in developing JumiaPay and putting into commercial routines. - Partaking in key strategic meetings with partners on behalf of JumaPay. -Managing JumiaPay Partners' relationships.- Assisting the Central Accounts and Internal Audit Team with key analysis of JumiaPay numerics for financial reporting purposes. - Undertaking a consolidated weekly/monthly Portfolio performance analysis for JumiaPay Group currently with portfolios in 4 African countries - Kenya, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Egypt. -Assisting the JumiaPay Group C.O.O Financial Services in the constant status update and revenue realized by the Group portfolio.- Undertaking an in-depth Group Portfolio performance analysis and reports for top level managerial and investor purposes.-Acting as a point of contact for all JumiaPay partners in the Kenyan market and Group's strategic point of contact in regards partners in the other countries . - Developing and managing relationships with existing and potential customers and Partners. - Developing together with JumiaPay Global team the best short and long-term strategies for JumiaPay .- Developing manuals, training slides on processes, requirements and procedures for use in training key departmental heads and staff regarding JumiaPay operations. - Training other departmental managers across the Jumia Group on the JumiaPay propositions.

I was tasked with;- Driving Agency Banking, banca-assurance and Card business growth.- Filing customer loan forms.- Account opening for new members on T24R14. - Appraising customer loan abilities and facilitation of loan processing through the CreditQuest system.- Cross-selling other bank products.- Developing and managing relationships with existing and potential retail banking customers.- Delivering set targets in asset and liability.Key Achievements:- Pioneered the first out of schedule check-off loan within KCB Bank fraternity. Lending Kes 6M check-off loan repayable within 84 months to a single borrower.-Together with the retail team, grew the branch asset-book by over KES 500M in 2 years.

I was incharge of:~Championing Agency Banking at the branch level.~Driving Agency Banking and Card business growth at the branch level.~Guide Agency Banking at the branch level as per the Central Bank of Kenya's guidelines.~Managing performance of Agents and Merchants attached to the branch.~Developing growth strategies for Agency Banking and Merchants applicable to the branch area of operation.~Analyzing Agency and Merchant Performance and making recommendations to the Agency Banking Unit at the Head office.~Coordinating the Agent and Merchant business and the Branch network.~Successful recruitment and training of Agents and Merchants into the branch network.~Researching on emerging market trends and providing information on Agent and Merchant business.~Developing and managing relationships with existing and potential Agents and Merchants.~Providing leadership in Agent and Merchant business growth and training them and their staff.~Developing and driving the growth of mobile banking, card issuance and E-channels within the branch.Key Achievement:~Grew the number of active agents under the branch from 25 agents to 74 active agents within a span of 3 months.~Within 3 months, pushed Agency Banking business emerging with 2 Agents making to the top 5 best agents nationwide, in terms of transactions and compliance.

I was responsible for;~Termly and annual budget preparation for the school.~Collection, recording and keeping track of students fees and financial trends.~Raising cheques for approved payments.~Conducting bank and budget reconciliations.~Advising the school administration on key financial issues.~Maintaining school accounts in line with operational and informational systems.~Raising students fee receipts.~Maintaining the school cashbooks and other accounting records.
