The TowGo® Trailer Backup Navigation Aid makes it easy for anyone to backup with a trailer. It assists a driver to backup straight, through a curve, and through a sharp turn. The system consists of a rechargeable bluetooth sensor for the steering wheel (to measure and compute the vehicle’s turning radius), a vehicle-powered, bluetooth sensor for the trailer (to measure and compute the trailer hitch angle and to run our proprietary algorithms), and software to enable a smart phone or tablet to be used as a display/input device. Founded this Venture Capital funded semiconductor company for the development of low cost, high capacity, solid state memories. Invented DTM memory technology, a highly efficient and symmetric memory architecture. This patented architecture reduces the number of mask and process steps by as much as 65 percent compared to NAND flash memory resulting in about a three-fold improvement in capacity for the fab with a corresponding 65 percent reduction in wafer cost relative to NAND while maintaining compatibility with a standard CMOS line. The DTM memory array is a self-aligned, cross-point array based on a 4F² cell that uses a vertical epitaxial diode as the select device and a patented phase-change memory element design. Our drop-in replacement for a NAND flash component adds support for word, sector, and page-level read, program and erase commands to supplement the normal NAND flash specification. Responsibilities also include patent writing and PTO office action responses. 45 patents issued or allowed and over a dozen in process.
