About Daniel Raffell
I am a highly driven, motivated and experienced trainer and leader. I have been working in the community services sector for nearly 20 years in various positions starting as a frontline worker with youth, homelessness, addictions and mental health clients and rising to executive positions in my current role and also as Vice Chairman on the board of directors for a Brisbane based Not for Profit. I have a broad range of experiences and skills that I have acquired in my life journey and career. Which include business development, project management, strategic and operational planning, financial management, training and evaluation, and I have shown consistent effectiveness within my clinician roles in counseling, case management and providing support for those with complex mental health needs. I always strive to inspire those around me to achieve common goals. I also have a strong affiliation with many clients and young people I have worked with having come through significant addiction recovery in my young adult life.I believe that managing people, developing and promoting a positive culture while delivering effective outcomes within a high performance environment are essential to success. I always look to develop strong working relationships with stakeholders, staff and clients and is critical component when working in the community services. Meeting the needs of the clients we work with is essential while maintaining the philosophy and vision and values of the organisations I work with, and especially those with a Lived Experience of addiction and Mental Health, advocating for their voice to be heard within government and policy decision-making.I pride myself in always being able to learn, grow and adapt and I work hard to to be a good ambassador and role model for those around me . Other values that are central to my life are honesty, integrity, genuineness, diplomacy and I always maintain these with the utmost professionalism.
