Within low-income public school system, taught upper level math classes at one of the four local high schools. Classes included Algebra II, Elementary Functions, and International Baccalaureate Math SL II. Taught statistics, differential calculus, and integral calculus to juniors and seniors. Experienced working with a diverse population. Made guided worksheets allowing students to easily follow along with notes each day. Kept online grade book up to date. Scheduled tutoring sessions biweekly to help student progress. Attended monthly math department meetings for vertical planning. Worked with collaborative learning team to create common Algebra II curriculum. Volunteered as an assistant JV baseball coach. Looked over running, fielding, and hitting drills. Sponsored Mu Alpha Theta, mathematics honor society.

Tutored high school students in many areas of mathematics. Reinforced and explained ideas and concepts presented in class material.
